HIS has access to a range of Government-funded grants which will help cover all or part of the installation costs for the following energy efficient measures:
- Small Scale Wind Turbines - harness the wind to generate electricity
- Solar Hot Water Systems - use sun and daylight to heat your water
- Solar Photo-Voltaic Systems - use sun energy to create electricity to run your appliances
- Ground Source Heat Pumps - heat small spaces in your property
Currently there are grants available, subject to eligibility, to help cover part of the installation cost for Solar Power Systems. These grants are on a first-come, first-served basis.
